Roots in Stewardship

The NAN was initially employed as a patrol vessel for our home lands and waters, unceded Nuxalk ancestral territory. Her focus was to expose the trophy bear hunt which was closed by united Central Coast First Nations and later recognized by the provincial government in 2017. Nan Adventure Tours has unwavering stewardship values and continues to monitor for any illegal activity in the vast reaches of the Great Bear Rainforest.
